have their own speciality that you rarely find elsewhere, so
you'll find sofrito
in tavernas on Corfu, spetsiota
on Spetses; Kefalonia's speciality is kreatopita
- Kefalonia Meat Pie, which you'll find on the menu in many a taverna,
and it's well worth a try. Of course, you'll also find most of your
favourite Greek food in the tavernas on Kefalonia but, such is the
range of food, and tradition, that you probably won't find a taverna
serving everything. Which is a good reason to try a number of
different tavernas, psarotavernas, pseestarias...
